Recolor

Changes the color of a product while preserving every other detail — materials, stitching, shadows, and structure.

When to use it

Reach for Recolor when a product is exactly right but you want it in a different color. It keeps the materials, stitching, shadows, and structure intact and only swaps the color, which makes it ideal for building colorways or matching a brand palette.

How to use it

1. Upload the product image.

2. Click the color swatch to open the color picker, or type a hex code directly (e.g., #B22233 for Kenna red).

3. Optionally add prompt details like "matte finish" or "keep the white sole."

4. Click Generate. Cost: 2 credits.

Credits

Each recolor costs 2 credits.

Tips

The hex color gives the AI a precise target. If you have a Pantone or brand color, convert it to hex first. The tool works best on products with a single dominant color — for multi-colored products, use Edit with AI instead and specify which parts to recolor.
