# Edit with AI

A free-form editing tool where you describe changes you want made to an image using natural language.

#### When to use it

Reach for Edit with AI when you want to make a specific change to an image and describe it in your own words. It's the most flexible tool in Kenna: swap a background, add or remove details, adjust a garment, or refine a render — anything you can put into a sentence. Use it whenever a more specialized tool doesn't quite fit what you need.

#### How to use it

1\. Upload the image you want to edit.

2\. Write a prompt describing exactly what to change: "Remove the background and replace with a beach scene" or "Add a pocket on the left chest" or "Make the sleeves shorter." To limit edits to a specific area, use Paint Mask to brush over the region you want changed, and add a Reference image to guide the result.

3. Choose an edit quality — Basic (3 credits) for fast iterations, or Pro (5 credits) for higher-quality results — then click Generate.

#### Credits

Basic edits cost 3 credits and Pro edits cost 5 credits per generation. Pro gives higher-quality results.

#### Tips

This is the most flexible tool — it can do almost anything. But specificity matters. Instead of "make it better," try "increase the contrast, sharpen the stitching detail, and add a subtle shadow beneath the product."

Use Paint Mask to pinpoint an area to "remove" or an area to "restructure". Brush over just the area you want changed.
