# Color Extractor

Extracts the dominant color palette from any image — useful for identifying brand colors, fabric colors, or creating mood boards.

#### When to use it

Reach for Color Extractor when you need the exact colors out of an image — a brand reference, a fabric swatch, or an inspiration shot. It returns a clean palette with hex values and Pantone matches, which you can feed straight into tools like Recolor.

#### How to use it

1\. Upload any image — a product photo, fabric swatch, inspiration image, or mood board.

2. The tool analyzes the image and returns the 6 dominant colors as a palette, each with its hex value and closest Pantone match. This tool is free — it doesn't use any credits.

#### Credits

Color Extractor is free — it doesn't use any credits.

#### Tips

Great for pulling exact colors from client reference images or competitor products. Use the extracted hex values directly in the Recolor tool to match colors precisely.
